TRUE BLUE
There are people who can go through life with quite a few friends whom they never fully embrace. They are perhaps the charismatic types who tend toward sales and entertainment, who know how to “work a room” and were possibly on homecoming court once upon a time. They are a lot of fun to have around, but they’re difficult to pin down.
There is another breed of friend who longs to be a best friend. Things like, “Thick as thieves,” “Inseparable,” and “Joined at the hip” come to mind. Yes, friends like this may inspire descriptors like “needy” or “stubborn,” but we at BBMT-HQ prefer to say “loyal,” and “stalwart.” Meh… semantics, right?
The reason we raise the comparison is we’re excited that you have proven yourself as a “bestie” to Blueberry Muffin Tops. You aren’t just interested, or dabbling. For Pete’s sake, you’re reading a blog about our cereal, so obviously you’re way into it. No, no, no… we are not poking fun. We are totally into you, too.
We’re hoping to roll out some pretty exciting promotions over the next few months that will have you die-hard fans rolling on the floor with glee and perhaps over-consumption of delicious, nutritious, crunchicious Blueberry Muffin Tops Cereal. Another semantic problem: If we say, “Please stock up on BBMT, and get a friend to buy a few bags, and here is a coupon to cover some of the cost…” Are we testing you or rewarding you? We’re not sure that it’s important. We all get what we want, right? Right.
Anyway, what we’re saying is we’d like to take our relationship to the next level. We know you’ve made room for BBMT on the kitchen cabinet shelf, but do we have your heart? We shall soon find out. We’re in this together.
