There’s nothing like the excitement of a live show. (Unless it’s a live Joystiq podcast, which is like a show sort of, but not exactly.) I guess what is particularly gripping about this is that usually when you enjoy a Joystiq podcast, you’re just listening, but not watching. At PAX East, the Joystiq gents favored us with something pretty to look at while we listened to them wax on about video games and highlights from PAX East.
Another benefit of a live podcast is the hosts have an audience to mess with during proceedings, so the fellows gave away a ton of great prizes.
There were three raffle tickets taped under the chairs at the podcast. One of these tickets yielded an iPod Touch, the other two tickets were for two new NOT YET RELEASED Nintendo DSi XL game units! What? That’s awesome.
And the conventioneer who came from the farthest land (and it was Ireland, y’all!) got a months supply of Blueberry Muffin Tops Cereal. Justin offered to hand deliver the BBMT himself, dressed as Cupid. We think he’s kidding, but we wish it were true.
Blogger’s dilemma: I’m struggling to choose between to ways to wrap up the last paragraph. I’m torn between either, “Top o’ the Muffin to ya!” or “Luck of the Irish indeed!” I can’t decide, so you get both. Talk about lucky…
